The 55th Annual
Corrosion Control Course
January 23 - 25, 2008
at the University of Oklahoma

Track Program Certification

To meet our goal of providing basic instruction for corrosion control, a specific curriculum has been developed for each track. These programs could be used to assist corrosion control personnel in meeting DOT Operator Qualification Requirements.

Those participants wishing to receive Certification of Successful Completion for either the External Corrosion Control Program, Internal Corrosion Control Program, or the Pipeline Integrity-Corrosion Assessment Program will be required to attend classes and to take a test on Friday morning.

Advantages of Certification

  • Record of certification maintained by the University of Oklahoma

  • Certificates issued by the University of Oklahoma - College of Continuing Education

  • Certificate of Participation (Must attend to receive)

  • Certificate of Successful Completion of Course (must attend and receive 70% or higher score on the exam)

  • Laminated, signed and dated wallet-sized card to certify successful completion of Course

  • Assists in meeting DOT Operator Qualification Requirements

The Certification of Successful Completion exam will be administered
Friday, January 26, 2007• Cost for Exam $60

Special Bonus

  • The reference book Basic Course Appalachian Underground Corrosion Short Course will be included for all registrants who sign up to test for the external corrosion control certification track.

  • Lunch will be provided on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY.
