This course will cover shutdown panel electrical troubleshooting using various types of panels and the design, installation and maintenance of the RF (Radio Frequency) communications systems used to remotely monitor these panels, and end devices. Covered will be Licensed MAS, Spread-Spectrum, and and Wireless Ethernet. Both the Troubleshooting Panels classes and the Communications Segment will offer "hands-on" learning opportunities.

Programmable Logic Controller Troubleshooting
This course is designed to give the student a good understanding of troubleshooting a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system. The course will begin with the fundamentals of ladder logic and operation of a PLC then followed by PLC wiring troubleshooting. Students will write several programs using versipro software on computers and download their programs to a GE
PLC interfaced with training stations. In addition, a DVOM will be used in the troubleshooting part of the course.
